In the summer, the ski slopes transform into Quebec's ultimate mountain biking challenge. Extreme mountain bikers will not be disappointed: a 625-m (2063-ft) vertical drop (take a gondola to the summit), trails leading all over the mountain, 16 cross-country trails and an area reserved for North Shore-style extreme biking. For the not quite as daring, Mont-Sainte-Anne has footpaths and bike trails for the entire family and all levels of difficulty. Equipment rental onsite. You can also bike along Route 360, a quiet roadway that lies next to the Val-des-Neiges Hotel and winds through the gorgeous landscape. To the east, you will find the alpine village of Saint-Férréol bordered by carefully tended fields, while to the west, you can follow the New France Route from the Beaupré Coast to Île d’Orléans and explore several centuries of Quebec's history. You can also go parasailing or hang gliding under professional supervision (in french only) over Mont Sainte-Anne, canyoning, white-water kayaking, mini-rafting, go karting, hiking, horseback riding, bird watching and so much more.
